Connecting through Zoom

How to connect to a meeting or service using Zoom

There are 3 ways to connect:

1) Connect and listen on your computer

Click HERE to start Zoom

If you have previously installed Zoom on your computer

1. A dialog box will appear - click “open zoom.us” or “open zoom meetings”

2. Choose “computer audio”

3. Select “Join with computer audio”

4. To give a testimony at the Wednesday evening meeting, click on the microphone in the lower left of the screen to unmute yourself. Be sure to click it again to put yourself back on mute when you are finished speaking.

If this is your first time connecting

1. After clicking on the link above, click on “download and run Zoom”

2. Follow directions to install Zoom on your computer

3. Enter your name and click “Join Meeting”

4. Choose “computer audio”

5. Select “Join with computer audio”

6. To give a testimony at the Wednesday evening meeting, click on the microphone in the lower left of the screen to unmute yourself. Be sure to click it again to put yourself back on mute when you are finished speaking.

2) Connect through Zoom app on your mobile device (Wifi)

If this is your first time, install the free “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app on your mobile device.

Click HERE to go directly to the church service or meeting

1. Enter your name, click OK

2. Select “Call Over Internet”

or

Join from the app

1. Open the app on your mobile device

2. Click “Join a Meeting”

3. Enter the meeting ID: 685 122 1124

4. If this is your first time, replace the default name with your name

5. Click “Join”

6. Enter the meeting Passcode: 1234

7. Select “Call over Internet”

8. To give a testimony at the Wednesday evening meeting, click anywhere on the screen, then click on the microphone in the lower left of the screen to unmute yourself. Be sure to click it again to put yourself back on mute when you are finished speaking.

9. To leave the meeting, click anywhere on the screen, then clickthe red “leave” button on the upper right of the screen. Then click “Leave Meeting.”

3) Call in on your home or mobile phone

1. Dial 346-248-7799

2. Enter your meeting number: 685 122 1124 #

3. When asked to enter your attendee ID number, just press #

4. To give a testimony at the Wednesday evening meeting, press *6 on your phone to unmute yourself. Be sure to press *6 again to put yourself back on mute when you are finished speaking.

5. To leave the meeting, simply hang up your phone.
