Healing is a spiritual discovery of our unbroken relationship with God, revealing the natural presence of health, peace, and love in every life. Spiritual healing is not a miracle—it is a natural result of understanding our inseparable relationship with God. Through personal stories and biblical concepts, this talk illustrates how God, which is infinite and all-embracing Truth and Love, is an active force that restores and uplifts when understood. This talk includes some healing examples: An injured man is told he may never walk again and within days is released home Tom’s experience passing a critical exam and finding progress in an ethically-challenging finance career Christian Science is a practice that helps us discover spiritual reality beneath surface appearances—and how that discovery leads to transformation inside and out. Tom McElroy is a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science and recorded this talk as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
