God’s Purpose

Sometimes the pictures of national division and upheaval, with violent protests (as we’ve recently seen in Minneapolis), can seem overwhelming…and destructive of hope and faith. Jesus warned about (and predicted) the emergence of such pictures, but that we shouldn’t be afraid. He was unshakably confident in His sense of the safety and presence of His Father’s kingdom. Later, St. John voiced his spiritual vision of Jesus' confidence -- what Mrs. Eddy called the "acme" of Christian Science as the Bible reveals it. These teachings, in an ever more understandable sense, are ours today through the Comforter. Join us Wednesday night at 7:30. We will be singing hymns 82, 29, and 66 from the Christian Science Hymnal.
