When Jesus called the twelve to be his students, they followed him without hesitation. They knew of his works and could sense his love and authority. In Soul, we feel God's presence. In Soul, we see what is true, and are led to the discovery and demonstration of what is real and good. Sometimes the temptations are subtle, and we don't even realize where we are putting our faith. Spirit is all. Christian Science teaches that matter is the supposed opposite of Spirit, and thus has no real existence. Spirit is seen in the knowledge of ourselves as God's children. God's love for man, His own image, is a fact. The Bible teaches us that God is Love, and this teaching is in this week's Lesson-Sermon.
