The question of atomic force deals with the supposed existence of matter. Today there are theorized four fundamental forces of matter, from the attraction of the tiniest particles to the gravitational reach across many billions of miles of space. Is man's existence and purpose determined by these forces? In fact, infinite Spirit reigns supreme in our lives, and this week's sermon explains how Christian Science unfolds this spiritual evolution in thought.

"Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children" (Psalm 90). The body is not a material artifact that decays and dies. It is actually a spiritual image, an idea of God, divine Mind. This fact points to a coexistence with God that is not finite, but infinite. Just last week a popular online publication noted that "...we stand at the threshold of perhaps the most profound identity crisis humanity has ever faced." It suggests that AI technology is ushering in "the twilight of human intellectual supremacy" and is "reshaping not just our economy but our very understanding of what it means to be human beings." The story of Nicodemus and his nighttime visit to Jesus presents a description of the true spiritual man. Jesus made it clear that immortal man is unknown to the material senses, but that this real and perfect man is made known through the activity of a spiritual consciousness...the Christ in consciousness.
