The word “atone” is typically used to indicate making amends for past mistakes. But this week’s lesson on “Doctrine of Atonement” gives us the spiritual meaning, which is quite different. Our Pastor — the Bible and Science and Health — teaches how atonement uplifts you, shows you your oneness with God, divine Love, and that practical atonement cures disease and sin.
