In Christian Science, we learn the distinction between the mortal and the immortal. How do we know we are immortal? The sermon this week speaks of things like goodness and spirituality, traits that are immortal. Mrs. Eddy tells us: "Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea" (Science and Health page 323). It is this attitude that leads us to an understanding of what is immortal.
